It makes me feel better

maybe I write to be heard

maybe to heal what hurts

maybe it's the only way I can say what I feel out loud

maybe I write to think

to understand me better 

to identify what I feel

maybe I'm just trying to communicate

and I know that it's normal to feel this way

and that I shouldn't be embarrassed to let my feelings out

maybe when I write, things make sence

and my head is clear again

and I no longer want to cry

maybe I write cause it's the only thing I have

and it's like a puppet to a shy kid

or a camera or a brush

It's always easier for me to write than to speak. I often feel unheard and when I write I feel that my thoughts matter. also, the more I write, the more I understand how I feel. Because I believe that one can never write lies; at least that's the case with me.
