Is anyone listening?

Is anyone listening?

A Poem by Pól

Is anyone listening

to the tortured cries

ringing out

over and over

in this accursed place

the screams

of defeated men

forced to watch

their women and children

tortured and raped

before merciful death

ends all their pain

and quells the river

of tears

or has all the noise

affected our ears?

Is about how persons souls are tortured before they are they sent to hell eternally because no one cares about them at the moment that is happening to them, then after persons are aware of it, their memories are erased causing for repetition cycle to restart.

It has to do with persons cultures being distracted and conditioned to react and then forget, giving chance for repetition and not prevention.

Evil on earth destroying God's creation "the screams
of defeated men
forced to watch
their women and children
tortured and raped"

If thats what you read from it, then thats what it is.
Death is a portion of the moon,
It rises everyday,
It steels hearts and minds and souls,
Ere the dusk of its ray.
In a rolling tragedy,
Although the dead screams loud,
We live apathetically,
Our dead ears hears no sound.

A thought-provoking write. The really sad part of it is that this could be referring to almost any century in the history of mankind. As a species we are very slow learners! Thanks for sharing. ~ Robert.
