Poets prospect

Poets prospect

A Poem by Pól

The poet's prospect

a brow furrowed from the landscape

the incision, long

a wound so deep

cut from granite rock

flowing; east to west

trapped, from time to time

in a backwater, stagnant

an abyss

'til the ebb and flow

of meandering thought

throws creative light,

and marks the path

that leads;

often  to defeat

but also ...

from time to time

glory.

A unique way of portraying the issue of "writers block" to me. Some of the time the stop, allows the process to catch up and create a fantastic finish !! Unique way of describing this phenomena ! Good job.
