Who Decides?

Just a random thought...with everything going on in my family.

Who decides when we die?
Does God, with all his wisdom, decide?
Or does society?

Is there a check list that says "it's your turn"?
Who's checking off the list?
Is God?
Is it an angel? A demon?
No one knows for sure.

Does that list really decide?
Or is it fate?
Does fate decide?
Is it your faith in fate that decides?
Who truly decides?

God?
Fate?
Angels?
Demons?
Society?
You?

Do you decide?
Do you decide whether you leave or stay?
Do you decide who leaves or stays?
Is it your decision to make?
No one knows for sure who truly decides.

God.
Fate.
Angels.
Demons.
Society.
You.

Maybe we all decide.
No one knows for sure.

Hm. Very interesting poem. I certainly believe that there is a 'higher force' so to speak, that controls trivial things such as luck, coincidences, and things that we otherwise have no control over. Very good read, makes you really think about this 'philosophy' of who decides? Fitting name for the poem. Very good, keep writing :)

Yes, cause it aint over til its over, has my old coach used to say, "If you dont hear the bell or drop first, it aint over til you decided"
