help

help

A Poem by victoria

The tears kept coming
as she felt her arm numbing
she fell down the hole
demons eating her soul
even though shes the one who let them in
into her body, so tiny and thin
as she continued to fall
she let out a call
why didn't you help when she asked for it
now she's stuck in a pit
she asked for help but you didn't listen
even when you saw her tears glisten
"HELP,HELP," she tried to shout
even though you left, leaving her no way out
soon she fell asleep
when she woke she tarted to weep
she realized she was stuck forever
all because you didn't help her

Very touching poem, you make the words jump off the page and I can hear the cry. You also leave in that touch of anger and blame one feels in desperation. Once you edit and add in the rest of the punctuation it will be pristine perfect. Keep writing! ...also it makes me hope the person you are writing about was able to find solace, for often our outward cries are meant to be directed inward, because most of the time the only way to find help begins by first looking within. No one can face our monsters for us, but they can help hand the tools needed to win.

This one makes me cry. For years I gave heart and soul to help, and in the end it did no good.
There was nothing I could do, kind words loving embrace could not armor, her thread of fate.
It was always up to her.
