The Mortal AngelA Poem by deadly healeryeahEveryday the same. Hiding under masks of make up, She wears her shame. She is broken up inside.
Falling from the clouds Because she is mourning. Cringing as all the loud, Piercing noises of night grasp her.
Holding on with every breath, Slowly she turns mortal. Her fallen angel wing drenched, As they crumble into fog and mist.
She gave up everything for love. Oh how she adored him. He was flawless, but had noone to love. She loved how he acknowledged her.
Poor girl gave up everything for him. She gave up heaven, the sun, the moon. She sat so sturdy as a stem for those mortals. Now she has become one.
She crys herself to sleep. Wondering when he will notice her, So she will no longer weep. She knows not of a mortals affection.
How long will it take him To notice she has come for his love? Please dont let her die for him, her every breath is numbered.
She walks up to him and says,"hi." He turns away slowly searching for something. "Um hello," he says. Now all her sighs Turn into random squeals.
He asks if she's okay. She laughs and says,"of course." How could she not see before today That he is hard to talk to.
"I have something to tell you," she replys, "I have come from your dreams to tell you I love you." He doesn't know what to say. He lies, "Um, I love you too."
The next day she is wondering at the park. She sees him with this beautiful girl. They kiss and laugh until the night turns the sky dark. She realizes that she has lost a big part of her heart. Another night she crys herself to sleep. © 2011 deadly healerAuthor's Note
