Symphony of Silence

Symphony of Silence

A Poem by nava

the colour of silence,
a middle school detention.
the colour of silence,
a blooming affection.
As bright as a blue
shining diamond,
as dim as the sweet
mourning dove. silver
white songs and tear
jerking love. silence is
ash, rising above
shattered gold jars
and attic doors creaking,
and yet, pent up shrills
grasping for death.
