What Left UsA Poem by nava
in the heart of june's noon
a fawn feathered friend was caught in a gaze, unmoving it held up the deep set dark eyes penetrating every move. broken in contact a dingy tricycle spotted in the distance made its way hurriedly, the rusty tires spooking the uninvited guest a storm of feathers awakened, taking flight as light was fleeting. our feathered friend, once a guest, now a stranger, left us seeking for more.
