once a kingA Poem by navano one knows how much you've done till your gone.
i am a king,
sitting on a throne of lies. a king with a kingdom long since abandoned. yet the clattering of hooves, vicious shouts entailing tyranny flood the empty caverns of what little we call home. i am a king, no, i used to be a king. now i am the scraps of an old day, fluttering away.
