(8) He Makes My Heart Sing (8) Part ThreeA Chapter by ReadMyStuffsA promiscuous teenage girl who doesn't believe in love but in lust meets a guy who changes her life drastically and helps her realize true love doesn't only exist in movies. As soon as we entered the house, I could feel the intense heat coming from the massive mob of people as they grinded each other. The loud music was literally shaking the whole house. Lee led me towards some couches. I sat down on a couch as Lee sat next to me. I leaned onto his shoulder and Lee kissed my forehead. We were interrupted by the sounds of Lee’s friends. Lee got up telling me he’d be right back. I sighed as I watched him go. I looked around my surroundings. There were a bunch of people drinking beer, some making out and others dancing. I sighed sitting back. Having Lee as my boyfriend kinda restricted the number of friends I had. I really only had Jenna, my neighbour. And she wasn’t even here. I stood up, looking for Lee. I felt someone grab my arm and I turned around. An Asian guy smiled at me, slurring his words together. I pushed him off of me sending him onto the ground. He lay there, looking at me for a moment before laughing hysterically. Quickly, I left not looking back. I felt someone’s eyes on me as I poured myself a drink from the keg in the kitchen. I brought the cup to my lips, taking a sip. A guy came up beside me pouring himself a drink. He winked at me. I raised my eyebrows as I put my drink down. “I couldn’t help noticing how stunning you are,” He said giving me a charming smile. I didn’t reply. “I’m Xavier Santos,” He said offering his hand. I looked at his hand, then at him. He was Hispanic. He had curly brown hair and extremely straight teeth. On his left cheek, he had a little scar. He wore these cute thick rimmed glasses and a chequered blue and white shirt with baggy jeans. He was wearing headphones on his neck and his right ear was pierced. I picked my drink up without a word, walking away. I found the couch I was sitting originally and sat down, waiting for Lee. As I took another sip of the beer in my hand, the Xavier guy came up next to me and sat down. “Go away,” I said turning away from him. The guy laughed, running his hands through his curly hair. “You’re really pretty for a blond girl,” He said moving closer to me. I looked at him, eyebrows raised. “Excuse me?” I asked, partially offended. I pushed him away. He ignored this and continued talking. “So what’s your name? Do you have a boyfriend? I should take you out,” he said putting him arm around me. Where in the hell was Lee? “Go away! I have a boyfriend. But even if I didn’t, I still wouldn’t be interested,” I said annoyed as I stood up. He grinned. “Okay, okay. I can take a hint.” I rolled my eyes. Finally! He stood up. “It’s okay… I love a challenge. See you around blondie.” He walked away. I watched him go, furious. I hated that guy. I looked around one last time for Lee before leaving the party fuming. That a*s ditched me here. It was a 30 minute drive from here to my house. It’d take me forever to get home… It’d be better then staying here at this horrible party. Oh how I wish I had my car… © 2010 ReadMyStuffsAuthor's Note
