A Life Changing ExperienceA Story by SebastianThis was supposed to be a college application but I had fun with it.A Life Changing Experience My life was drastically changed when I was attacked by a sasquatch. The memories of that horrific event stir fear and pain deep within my being.
I distinctly remember making myself a sandwich one afternoon in my apartment, when suddenly a big hairy monster crashed through the wall and ran away. That night, my roommate came home and saw what had happened. He would not believe that a sasquatch shattered a hole through the wall so he threatened to beat me with a lead pipe if I didn’t fix it by the following week.
The next day, I got out of bed and took the bus downtown. I was listening to music on my extremely high-tech MP3 player. There was only one other person sitting, reading a newspaper. I made the mistake of directing my attention to the scenery of the outside world. I felt a bestial breath against my neck and I looked behind me in fright. It was that horrible beast again. He grabbed me and shook me as he uttered his maniac shriek. I pulled for the next stop and ran for my life. He followed, but he was no match for a champion track star such as myself.
Two weeks after school started, I was eating lunch with an infamous gang of sophomore homies, who had taken me in and claimed me as their own. When the bell rang, they disappeared. I found myself alone in the courtyard, except that I was not. In fact, I was being watched. The sasquatch jumped down from a nearby tree and hurled toward me, finally tackling me to the ground. That was when I blacked out.
After Labor Day, I was in my extra advanced physics honors classroom calculating very important equations and recording them down on a piece of the finest quality notebook paper. Abruptly, a distraction crossed my path. The thing that had been stalking me was outside and had a bull-horn. He continuously shouted my name at the opened window until the police arrived.
Following that horrific month of terror, everything in my life was flipped. I could only sleep five minutes per week. I began to eat soy products and watch my weight. My boyfriend shaved his head and joined an obscure religious cult. I then spiraled into a deep depression.
Luckily, I got my life back together shortly later. The sasquatch was taken to a local vet and put to sleep after the series of trials were over. I gained the confidence I needed to cope with this struggle, making me a better and stronger individual.
