A nice write. Memories, good or bad, some we wish we could forget. Thank you for sharing your poem with us, you have talent, keep them flowing my friend. God bless you
Hugs....Annie
Dana...it's true that memories are what sustain us in life when you get to be my age...however...it's a tragedy that many...when they reach this stage of life...don't have that luxury. Memories don't always remain.
The devil's tool, Altzheimers disease, rears its ugly head about this time for some. Their vacant stares, their inability to recognize loved ones, etc., etc., is a travesty in this modern age. If we concentrated on elminating this dreadful scourge as much as we do on developing ipods, blackberry's, toys that talk etc., etc., what a boon it would be for mankind!
Memories are a necessity for me.
Without them, it might be very hard to continue in this world.
Too bad that we have some very painful memories, but still wish to remember them.
Great write :)
Very true your words, memories never leave we just put them away till we need them.
"memories always remain sincere in your heart" I so agree with you here, the mind always clutters memories, however the heart never does.
It is an amazing poem with a good ending, I would say don't stop with your writing. Thank you for sharing it with us.
A nice smooth flow too a topic that I agree with whole heartedly. Memories are what we experience and it's those experiences that carve us into who we are now. We as mortals will have our share of ups and down goods and bads, which is just the way it is. The highs lift us to new levels of insight and joy. The lows we learn to climb from and grow.
I have no experience in writing, much less in critiquing, but I enjoyed the heart felt sound of "What do you always remember?" Hoping to learn from everyone, I enjoyed your poem
Thank you very much!
