Butterfly Bestow Your Kisses...A Poem by Michael G. Smithcherish each dayButterfly, bestow your kisses upon my garden Soft pecks blown upon a sunday afternoon Things I yearn for yet, I cannot have them Wishes; fantasies of which will never bloom
Sun with shadow slowly rises Each day and then to be gone again A dear warm friend and her wises Reminds us that time has not forsaken yet
Privilege is to attend these flowers awhile longer As busy bees collecting sweet fresh nectar Seize upon the days and harvest all their power To store the sunshine as our joy... Peace inside through life's cold harsh winters
