Color of Heart

Color of Heart

A Poem by Michael G. Smith
"

Questions...

"
You say you hate the man
Because his skin as white as sand
My father's past sins upon me
Yet, you care not know me
And what of slavery
Whom is it not free
With your smile while you kill me
And again I ask, "what of slavery"
Which of us is now more alive
It's the color of heart which matters most
Ask yourself "is it dark or is it bright"
