Smokin' Crack

Smokin' Crack

A Poem by Michael G. Smith
"

a little humor

"

She said to herself “Some smokin’ crack!”

From behind the plumber’s back

It was love at first sight from where she was at

And broke every pipe in the house

Just to keep him coming back

Until his next birthday

When he was given a belt for his workin’ pants

And upon his next visit

There was sudden death to their torrid romance

It seems when relationships are built upon …

Fault-lines and addictions then they’re sure to never last

While it is a sad, tragic story, I found this very humorous and it make me laugh. Thank you, Michael.
