So, you say "I don't believe in God"

Your actions make it all too obvious

Yes, some rules are necessary in life, no doubt about it. Very good spiritual expression in this one, Michael, but some of your misspellings should be corrected. For instance, in this line, "When there's no rules your truly a slave" you should change "your" to "you're" . Good work though. Lydi**

Everyone is trying to either believe, disbelieve, or doubt theirs or another's definition of the term "God", but doing any one of those things is impossible since we are trying to define a Psychological synergy (a mood) that may only be experienced in itself. There is no logical algorithm for a synergy. Synergies are such that the sum of their parts are greater than their whole. We should just stop beating our heads against a brick wall trying to define the impossible since our attempts at definition just distract us from being aware the mood in itself. No one believes, disbelieves or doubts an evolved species survival trait (mood), as it is just obvious. Consciousness itself is a synergy. Our complex array of synergies as they play out within us from moment to moment is what we really are. We are each aware of what requires no definition, or name. Without our synergies we don't exist Psychologically.

There's only one way to know the truth of things according to Christ and that is from the prompting of the Holy Ghost. I never rely upon precepts of men. When our spirits our in tune with Christ knowledge will be revealed unto our mind and hearts. I know from gaining my own revelation but this knowledge can only come through the faith of Jesus Christ. Some may see this and dismiss it only as words because they cannot see with spiritual eyes.

As I recall form reading historical text, there was someone or a group of people called “Christ” who pointed us all in the direction of being aware of our obvious Psychological synergies. That has always been good advice. Socrates told everyone he met to get in touch with themselves too. The term "Holy Ghost" simply refers to the synergy of Consciousness; this synergy as with all synergies may only be experienced in itself. Ancient Mythology is just a form of anachronistic Psychology that later evolved into modern Psychology. All through time people need the helping hand of Psychology. I am the stream of my moods from moment to moment.

The Psychological synergies that these text refer to are obvious experiences in themselves. The synergis are real. Socrities and many other text from the distant past have also refered to these synergies. The synergy of Consciousness is experiences as being eternal and creative. There is nothing to believe in, disbeleive in, or doubt. We may talk to the reflection of our Consciousness if we we want to as if it were another entity, but one who perhaps contains our super-ego. Consciousness is a species survival trait, a reality.

We are much more than the sum of our parts. I, you, Jesus, Julius Caesar, Socrates, Buddha or anyone else whom you care to mention from the past, present, or future is within the overall synergy of eternal creative Consciousness; and this is obvious for anyone experiencing Consciousness. There’s no need to believe, disbelieve, or doubt the obvious. A great deal of Psychological harm has been done by people who set up dichotomies of belief and non-belief. Just leave the obvious alone. Those who attempt to define synergies create confusion and pandemonium within the human mind. Just let it be, and find tranquility.

Michael, this is so true....but unfortunately, the young are usually foolish until they learn the hard way. I wish there were an easier way for them to learn besides blowing themselves up. We just have to pray they will make it through without doing irreparable harm along the way. Bless you. :)

At 46 have three daughters 20, 24, 26 and one son 22 and two grandchildren. I'm almost out of hair even though I think the roughest patch of their religious rebellion is over.

A friend of mine is in a similar boat as you, but his children are even older and still rebelling. He's begun saying a rosary every day for each child to bring them back to the faith. I think it helps keep him sane, at least. Not sure if you're Catholic or not, but any kind of meditative prayer would be good to offer up for each child. Just a thought....

That's a given for me. I pray for my clan more than once a day. I was raised Catholic but converted to an LDS. All my children go to church. My youngest is serving a two mission in Ecuador spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
