I remember many years ago when I was depressed that I didn't feel happy but I knew that the joys in my life would never go away. For instance when my children were born I felt the most joy imaginable and that will never go away. When I was depressed, I knew that it was a matter of unknown time that I would feel better. I must say, however, that it is hard on the spirit to know that happiness is within reach but you just can't reach it. . .very thoughtful poem. . .be well
