Beware the Redhead

Beware the Redhead

A Poem by Michael G. Smith
"

I was once married to a redhead

"

Solar winds swept her hair

The fire hearts a burning

Touch her on a dare

If you think it will ease the yearning

Don’t mind the sign “Redhead Beware”

Just remember “Only you can prevent forest fires”

There is this girl at school who is a red head who annoys every bit of me so I came here agreeing to beware of this girl...this is nicely written though and makes me forget think about that bright quality in the hair that sends out those instant signals of fire. :) very well described.

Ha! Fun piece of sass here, Mike - though I'm sure some redheads might not agree! :)

Thanks Rita, all I can do is call it as I see it.
Ha...ha Doesn't matter what color your hair is
but I love this neat how you brought this to life
My great great grandma was a little fire ball
but she had dark black hair.

And I am a dark brunette but I can be a fire ball
but I am more laid back easy going not much bothers
me but having that fire all quality makes us Strong
and protective I don't know any mother that doesn't
have it but maybe it is my Irish Scottish Spanish an Cherokee.

this will go into my favorites.

Thank you for sharing. Blessings. Kindred poet

I settled for a more tranquil life with my now wife brunette.
Hello Michael,

I have this thing for redheads. If I could explain it I would but if its red damn my heart is dead. Just something about them wants me to take them and do...well you know.

Short and sweet, like most of my relations with redheads. Okay cold shower time

With Love,

Matthew
