The CursedA Poem by Michael G. Smith...Written by Debbie Philly in collaboration with Michael G. Smith My nights pitch as raven wings flighted Over earth I watch moon full rising triumph And see the wood nymphs dance in delight united To the sense of summer’s solstice solace
And steam of heat further glows the darkness Glimmers revealing my hunger beneath satin skins Through veins of blueblood a life force screams in silence As a river crimson flows deeper into wallow sins
Like molten flames they burn imprint and unquenchable Thirsts desires for more frenzy Wilder under twilight becoming insatiable Until the feasting ends; soothes deviltry
And yet the nights endless continues feeding upon me Upon the weaker souls I vex The damned I am forever searching Blurs the black into starless nexus
The curses binds me; a vortex of melotragic Undead influx intimate in my existing Within this stone flesh cold heart, stagnate But, I forever long to look upon the morning sun… yet merely finding myself within another hollow evening
