Quicksand Limbo (Somewhere between the Darkness and the Light)A Poem by Michael G. SmithTo choose wisely'Within its purest form Impotent are the Earthly eyes The wonder of its core Listen, hear the light converse To one's heart, first Intertwined paradox unlocks Unto knowledge of the vasting universe
Ponder upon what is first, Morning glory or twilight hour Or causes it to withdraw And passions will burn hotter than infrared In continued rejoicing And constant singing
But, soon the Alpha wolf, a storm of nightress Unsuspecting and rapidly appears Into a well compensated assassin To the absence of his own tabernacle Further from heaven's twinkling jewels Shone from paler moons And contracts with greater fear Which evil all most always reveres
But, here in the distracts of terrestrial life We need to be bipolar How much we love the other At least one of the two created brothers We shall either grow wilder or evermore wiser Do we listen or ignore the inner voice © 2013 Michael G. SmithReviews
