Warmth of Mother's Womb

Warmth of Mother's Womb

A Poem by Michael G. Smith
"

Deja vu in the comfort of morning's blankets

"

Wrapped within the morning
I lie alone, far away
As most days I often do
All, but minds eye
Is undercover closed

Clinging to empty linen
And then, unconscious folds
Form to dreams of meditation
And then I feel you
Lying so very close

The day continues collapsing in
As every second to minute goes
And so I bury myself further, deeper
Thinking less and less, just being

Sensing deja vu

Struck by an unawareness
Of the naissances soon
Or what conscience shall remember
Beneath an old famaliar blanket
Can it be, the warmth of mother's womb

Description of the "unawareness" of the womb and transferred later to a blanket. Excellent perceptions.

I dont think if anyone of us can remember what it must have felt like being inside there in mother's womb, But when we try to seek bliss or eternal happiness may be is realizing that feeling again.
