This is interesting. Often the sun is supposed to be male and the moon, female, in our culture. It is the other way round in some other countries. But as your poem says it is nice to think of our mothers as being warm ...even 'Essential to His plan, You are heaven's crossroads, The whole, of family's universe.' Well written.

Beautiful metaphors that give justice to a mother's love. I love the beauty of the simplicity of your style.

That's awesome, make sure to let him know that it's written by one of the premier poets of our age.
I love how you likened your mother to the image of the sun; it's a good and effective metaphor. Also the repetition of the first stanza creates an ending which wraps up the rest. The capitalized letter 'E' on Earth (last line) speaks of identity, of importance, of intimacy with the sun. Well-penned. :x

The love of a mother is very powerful and deep. This was very well written. A true beauty and tribute to those women who possess a strong love for their children.
