I wrote this piece over a year ago which is why I'm comfortable sharing it now. I hope that my writing will help you relate... you are not alone.

Our I love you was a little different. We perferd the term "I see you" which to us was more personal than I love you. It was more than we could say.

My dad died. I wrote this to/for him.

As a child, there's nothing quite like running into your dad's arms when he walks thru the front door.
