Flames licking at the sky.

Riots.
Solving a tragedy with violence,
Leading to more tragedy.

It almost seems odd,
But yet thrilling
To press the pen to paper
Once again.
It's strange
To prick my heart
And let my emotions out
Again...

"You can fight back" the darkness whispers in my head.
"They can't control you" my rage seethes
"Take the knife" my own voice. Sickly sweet.

as the rain pours down.

with rasping sound.
Street lights blink,

ruin,
Forgotten
beauty,
Illuminated
by dusty light.

elegant shadow

the haunted night.
