This is not a website for serious writing. This is a "hangout spot" where everyone is required to lavish praise on everyone else, and all serious efforts are overlooked for the most part. There are some very talented people who have posted here, so this is a generalization. I know this does not apply to everyone. But this site is a time-waster, and WILL NOT HELP YOU in terms of improving your writing. If you want to write, go fucking write. I will not return here. I may poke my head around scribophile. If you get a chance, pick up a copy of White Ash Literary Magazine, issue 3. and Salmagundi issue 5, where I have finally, after writing for years, been published.
