Who are You?

What did you do to me?

Why am i this way?

How come I am here?

Your voice resigns in my memories

The pictures i have are clear

The heart throbbing pain i see 

Who are you? 

Where did you go?

The darkness follows me 

Please, i beg of you tell me 

Who are you?

The shadow of my past

The girl that i once saw a long time ago

A glimpse her face, smiling at me

Remember her

Know her as I know of her

There will be changes to her

Ones that will make her strong

Changes of a future grown cold

Warm her with yours arms, 

Teach her how to live again.

Who are you?

Who am I?

I am you...

not so much thinking about who i used to be, but it made me think about someone can totally plague our thoughts and we might not evn know who they are... vague childhood memories come back to me all the time and that line expressed it perfectly... i never knew how to explain it before. you have inspired me for the day, lol!

Yes this is really good, often we are seeking who we are and we forget that who we are is really in our past. I loved your delivery and how you showed us the truth as well as the process it took the person to go through to realize it herself. Excellent poem.
