A mask UnwornA Poem by Misty Blue EyesA mask of beauty lays upon the desk For it has not yet been applied Sat at the mirror the reflection is a blur Tears cease on their departure
Told of only ones beauty She is not that one Hidden and forgotten Keys longed for Unlocking of the door is not so the mask of beauty sits untouched smudged and rained on
Beauty fades from color to grey and white Shattered is the mask lays upon the floor broken and never worn
