Tiger

Tiger

A Poem by Misty Blue Eyes

You use to stand at my feet

You would take walks with us

hunt for mice by the willowtree

That great ball of fur

the one that took forever to grrom

you laid on our beds at night

You were always close by

The meows to let you in at night or to be fed

I wondered where you were half the time

what adventures did you go on?

The fights you got into

made me sad

but you took care of yourself

sleep outside in the summer

The "cat bowling" dad did with you

at 5 am when you wanted to be fed

i close my eyes now

seeing you all over the place

my heart cries for you

miss you dearly Tiger

very good poem, but really disturbing, that so awful!
my last dog that I had died from eating a rat in the backyard that had been poisoned. which meant second hand poisoning for her. it was awful- thats the one i wrote "learning to say saying goodbye" about.

not sure what could have happened, we kind of had racoons and foxes where we lived in the city so we think something like that did it. but never did find out..
