Satan had her soul

Satan had her soul

A Poem by Misty Blue Eyes

she woke up cold

Never knowing what happened

her clothes torn and scattered

Clutching to her own body

blood trickling from herself down the bedding

pain ripping through her body

tugging at her every being

What was that? The shadow

in the corner of the dark room

The thing that stayed so still

Was it human?  some one to save her?

Holding her soul  out in his hand to show her

he smiled leaving a villanish smirk

His eyes glistened with evil as she cried

Had taken everything she had ever known

Satan had come to her room that night

forever making her every move a step in fear!!

Satan had been here this night!

Wow. This was quite disturbing, but I loved it. I could relate to it.

You wrote a wild and crazy poem. A visit from the devil could leave you in a bad position. Old Devil rarely lose and release his poor prisoners. I like the story. It was like a direct conversation. I like the last line. A excellent poem.

the shadow lurking in the corner. like a lion lying in wait to take this poor woman's soul. oh, i like this poem alot! holding one's soul tightly in one's hand, only to give it to the deal in confusion! beautiful!

...and the Devil forgot his hoodie... This reminds me of sleep paralysis for some reason...at least, the presence of some intense evil in my dark room. I thrive on that, though. Very dark, very well done.
