Snowfall

A white sky woken up to

No sun today

huge flakes of wet cold snow fall

the heater kicks on

And On!

Burrr its really cold

 the cars go down the street

SPLASH!! into a wet puddle.

kids out playing

rolling for snow balls 

This should be fun!

Snow suites and gloves

hats and boots

laughing and excitement heard

Rosey cheeks

cold feet

hot chocolate waiting

warm kitchens 

cold wind blows through

doors open and close

Cold children sit and warm by the fire

tired from a hard days play 

they soon are off to sleep

Dreaming of another DAY!

To be young and energized by the snowfall. A beautiful and happy poem. We need to keep some of our kids spirit. Good for old folks(I'm the old one. I know you are young.) to play in the snow too. A very good ending. Nice to have tire children ready for sleep. A excellent poem.
