nothing could stop her

nothing could stop her

A Poem by Misty Blue Eyes

Every day she walked
Snow, rain, or shine
Cold, warm or hot
I waited for her at the front door
Every morning she would have that smell
I would watch from my kitchen window to see if i could see her
She always had a smiling face waiting for her

Every day she walked
for 16 years she did this
a mile down there and when she walked back
it was a mile back....

Every day she walked
I loved to see her out there
legally blind and walking with a cane she walked
Stories she would tell of her adventure on the walk
Be it a little kid or a grown up

Every day she walked down....
To our house from 1993-2006

My grandmother took on the world even if she was blind!
