A Pondering Bullet

It lays on the table pondering its next victim

A child in a third world country?

A mother of 4 that was a rape victim in Africa

A terriorist in the middle east 

Or should it be one of the many that never gets used

That one that got lucky not to touch skin of a human

Loaded into a gun it sits and waits 

The adventure of its life begins..

Maybe it will travel to a far away place

Could be just down the street.

Who will hold the gun?

A little boy taught and trained to use a gun at the age of 9

A man young and his life just started in the military

Maybe a woman who wants to stand up to her husband 

or a kid just showing off the gun to his friend

The trigger pulled!

out shoots the pondering bullet

Raging ahead it aims for one of its targets

Piercing the skin and plunging into an unsuspecting target

the body laying on the floor close to deaths door

oozing blood from the head of its owner!

The bullet spent and bashed as it lays inside 

of the body of the person who loaded it

One less bullet to be used .......
