The death List

The death List

A Poem by Misty Blue Eyes

A knock arose at the door
Late one night
The house was sound
Lights dissolve for the night

I see something
Tall and black
The thing stands in the dark
The porch light is dead

Dressed in a black hooded cape
This tall figure with no face
Bones are his body

The hour glass sways
A pendulum of death
A death list waving around his scythe
For The reaper has come

For my lifeless body
Of no good deeds
The gun still smokes on the floor

His dead finger pointed
I succumb to this hell
for I have to follow

Oooh...just when you thought swallowing a barrel was the solution, the grim reaper rings your door bell. Can a girl not get some peace around here??? huh? No? Oh, well.

Great job sweets, keep it up!

On Death, On pure evil. On Darkness. On No Hope. A dark saga of the utterly hopeless, lifeless. I see a sense of submission to darkness in your works lately. Seems you are really fascinated by this side of the world. Good work :-)
