 She went on that board

She kicked and pushed

Everywhere she went

moving, bending from side to side

Everywhere she went

the four wheels carried her

Everywhere she went

People moved for her

Everywhere she went

Bending her knees to jump up over curbs

Everywhere she went

smiling at others like her

Everywhere she went 

Parks bowed to her and her skateboard skills

Everywhere she went 

She was told she couldn't be there on that board

Everywhere she went

She was praised...

Everywhere she went 

That board was with her, it was her life

Its like a bubbly skater girl poem. A lovely one too ( the poem). I felt you have an extra layer beyond the obvious lines. Its like holding onto something in life wherever you go. You may earn praises somewhere, you may hold on to dear life somewhere else. Though it seems more like wherever she went this principle or whatever she held onto made way for her and people looked up to her. Interesting theme. I keep on emphasizing. Love your range of poems
