Yeah I'm that girl

Yeah I'm that girl

A Poem by Misty Blue Eyes

i know im just a  molecule on the radar of the world,

barly a speck of dust in a room

a mere glance from another on the street

Some ones last thought of the year

Yeah I'm that girl...

I'm just not worthy

Of any ones time

Of their effort

Who really thinks of me?

Why should any one really have me on their minds?

Hold their ear to the phone when i call?

Tell me that i am not forgotten

Send me mail in the mailbox, that doesn't exist

I am just a girl who gets hits by a car or bus

Where the people just keep walking or stop and stare

Yeah I'm that girl...

The one who never existed

the girl who people push aside on crowded streets

Who's family thinks shes a disapoinment...

Yeah I'm that girl....

It's passionate writing fer sure, but it's terribly saddening. :/ Great writing though, it's heartfelt and I can feel it.

How very sad and tragic that someone would feel this way, but I know many people do, lots of people. You did a excellent job on this, it tugs at my emotions. I think I know that girl really well.

Oh BTW, I noticed a minor typo in your poem. You spelled molecule with "i". You could change that.

This poem is for all those of us who devalue some over the others. We are all precious, God's unique signature of one of the beautiful experiments he performed. The concept is touchy but what matters here is what lines you use. I love the 2nd but last para.
"Why should any one really have me on their minds?
Hold their ear to the phone when i call?
Tell me that i am not forgotten
Send me mail in the mailbox, that doesn't exist
I am just a girl who gets hits by a car or bus
Where the people just keep walking or stop and stare
Yeah I'm that girl..."
These are the kind of lines which makes poems exquisite and makes us fall in love with their creators. Its magic. loved it. Look forward to what you create.

There's this really cheesy quote out there,
and it goes "To the world you may be just one person, but to one person you may be the world" and I've always really liked that because it is
absolutely true for everyone.
We may feel unimportant in the grand scheme of things on occasion,
but fact of the matter is, we're here for a reason and we have people around
us who love and care for us, who's lives are richer because of our existence.
"That girl" is no exception.

Another great piece.

very sad to feel like that.
I always see the better side of things, and if I was invisible, I'd put my wonder to wonder

Sadness for 'that girl'. This is deep, and does cause a hurt. Reminds us. Well done. Very well done.

This is a very depressing write, but no one
Should feel this way everyone is necessary
No one is indispensable :)
