Was Never to be (prequal to He and SHE!)

Was Never to be (prequal to He and SHE!)

A Poem by Misty Blue Eyes

It was forbidden, their love
Sneaking away into the night
He was sent to destroy
She was sent to love

Their eyes locked never moving
Smiling and laughing
The world was bright
The world was theirs to have and hold

Nothing could part them
Days were endless
Nights gone too fast
Gardens bloomed year round
One day he did not come,
for a letter was sent instead.
Laid upon her pillow she wept
They had been found
Darkened days and never ending rain
The sun no longer shined
Flowers ripped from their being
She didn't want to live
He Would never give up,
Coming after her was all he wanted to do
Free her from the chains of darkness
Could he make it?

I loved the prequel as much as the HE and the SHE. amazing how much you get from one idea. :)

If I remember the story well, only the tale made it. They both finally met in their death...Sad, very sad.

interesting story, i like how you are able to tell that story in a series of poems. i like how you left it as a cliff hanger.
