Joy of Water

Joy of Water

A Poem by Misty Blue Eyes

Red candles lit
Yellow and white flames
Lined up in a row
Soft ripples of water
move around
Lights off and quite fills the room
A body submerges
Steam rises like flames
In hailing all around
Leaning back and closing eyes
The water moves around on the body
Making the muscles loose
Caressing with a hand on the legs
Moving up and down the body slowly
Working the water into the skin
Biting a lip
Working fingers up her stomach
Smiling, thinking of wonderful things
Eyes snap open
to the sound of a baby crying......

Very nice :) I love the baby crying interrupting. That is so true for most.

The ending here is precious.
I could picture the womans face change instantly,
as soon as the cry was bellowed.
Just brilliant, hahaha.

Hahaha.. loved this.. brought back some now great memories (my kids are older today so I can laugh). Nothing like a nice candlelit bath with soft soothing music.. and here you have the interruption being the baby crying! Well, part and parcel to being a parent.. even when they become teens their needs will always interrupt some soothing moments (they run the bathroom once they hit 9/10).. so if you can get in there .. make the most of it! Absolutely adored the twist on this one!
