3 Little Words

What can they be?

Those 3 little words

Being something so alien to some

And heart breaking to others

Where can you hear them from?

Those 3 little words

They can make the heart sing with joy

Can light a fire that burns for years

How do you get it?

Those 3 little words

How they can make some die for it

Can rip your being into millions of pieces

Never being able to pick them all up

When can it be picked up?

those 3 little words

Deliver such a punch to ones self

It can break you down into nothing if you loose it

Why is it to be?

Those 3 little words

You can be made to feel agony or joy

you can be human or dead

depending on......

What those three little words have in store for you

"I LOVE YOU" 

can rip you open or sew you back up

it can yank you from the ground 

picking you up so lightly 

"I LOVE YOU" 

it can bend you and break you

make you stronger or weaker

Never thought those three little words could be such poison on ones tongue

darting out and smashing into you like a deer......

what ever these words mean to you you can embrace it or let it go free.....

this is different from most of the i love you poems that i've read. i love you portrayed the negative side as well, most people don't when writing about saying i love you to someone. nice job!

it is a difficult task to put it out.
