Black Creature Of Shadow Mountain

Black Creature Of Shadow Mountain

A Poem by Sean M. Addams
"

made up my own creature and legend behind it so hope you enjoy kind of on the dark and creepy side but not as graphic as some of my pieces...

"

Through the mountain tops
The deadly legend will rise
A black creature with fangs
With yellow glowing eyes
It has spikes across its back
A midnight colored mane
Terror bleeds in its claws
It’s the new vision of pain
It hides the caves
Blends in with the dark
Feels the chills against your skin
With its moonlight hellish bark
It sneaks up from behind
Surprises you with one fatal whack
No time to run
As it jumps on top and begins to attack
Bites you with pointed teeth
Then begins to rip you apart
Bloods pours from its jaws
As it chomps down on your heart
The black creature of Shadow Mountain
Becomes a myth of this haunted place
Climb up towards the clouds of hell
Staring death right in the face!

Yikes, and I have to go in now and sleep by myself...NOT FAIR...where are my doggies????
I am scared this thing will get me in the night...

If I am not on the Cafe again then you know this creature has gotten me....smiles.........Oh no, I see yellow fire and yellow eyes in the hall......Sean, it's all your fault!

this is pretty scary -- the imagery is awesome. :) the words you use are quite pleasant, and so is the rhyme scheme.

Wouldn't it be amazing if all the creatures you create actually do come to life? Your imagination is one of a kind, Sean. Interesting how you use the term 'clouds of hell' as hell is taking the elevator down. Or is it?

I need a hug now cause I'm scared :-) Really, though, excellent work with a brilliant descriptive flair. I agree with Michael in that you are a master of horror, among other wonderful things...

awsome and mysterious sean, you never cease to amaze me my friend, and here you describe the legend, the creature of shadow mountain, i would love to read more off this, as well. and as always frightening, but subtle enough to give the readers a shiver before they look away, master of horror, keep it up!
