Robert The DollA Poem by Sean M. Addamshis legend his know more in Florida Keys but he inspired the movie childs play and too me more spookier than AnnabelleYou might have heard of Annabelle or maybe even Chucky You still don’t know the most famous of them all. Better watch out evil has a name We call him Robert the Doll! In 1906 given to a boy named Eugene By a Bahamian servant skilled in voodoo and black magic You would think a doll would cause no harm Unfortunately darkness takes over and things become tragic This tale takes a stranger path down creepy lane As the chills slip through the crack Eugene’s parents claim when he talked to the doll They heard a different voice talking back It gets weird and scarier seeing Robert As he appeared running from room to room Soon the family would fear Robert Unsettling feeling of doom Eugene would blame Robert for everything bad That happened within their home Never knowing where he would creep up next The sinister doll felt free to roam As Eugene grew older and died The attic became Robert’s new place to dwell People claim if they went up there It felt like they were walking into hell Robert’s expression always seem to change With a devilish kind of grin People become more curious of this walking doll of sin A new family moved into the house A little girl would soon claim Robert as her doll But screams would come as she was petrified Curled up in the corner of her room in a ball She said Robert tried to kill her Standing over her in her bed Saying in a demonic voice That soon she would be dead Robert was soon put into a museum in Florida Where he still resides today Even locked in a glass case The spookiness still seems to stay Tapping on the glass at night But it even gets worse If you take a picture of him without asking On your life he will put a curse Annabelle and Chucky He will put both of them to shame Looking into the face of evil Robert the Doll is his name! © 2014 Sean M.
