From the Shadows

A plea for help.

I am alone and it hurts. The silence burns through my soul like a wildfire.  Surrounded I huddle in the shadows reaching out but terrified to take hold. The world confuses me. I don’t understand the people around me. Born broken how can I mend what has never been whole?
