The Devil's RoadA Poem by Sean GorleyThoughts about death and what comes after.Death I long for your sweet caress like a lover’s touch. To
lie and listen to the whispers of the wind as they blow across the grave. To
let go and forget life it’s struggles its pain. There is no jealousy in death
no anger no loneliness, maybe. But then maybe death is a lie a trick not an end
but a reset and we do it all over. Tumbling endlessly through time one existence
to another, I long to leave but fear to go. I am a coward on the Devil’s road. © 2022 Sean GorleyAuthor's Note
