Death
A Poem by Sean Gorley
I wrote this when I was taking care of my Mum in her last days of her battle with cancer.
Life is but death long awaited. A road we wander broken and defeated. And when at last we kneel at Death’s alter we offer up our souls withered and worn to the reaper the battle lost a war we could never win.
