Red Steel

Red Steel

A Poem by Geist

Bloody water and razor blades

All of it becomes the same

Penetrates the toughest flesh

Over time it stands the test

Giving life to those now dead

To the rest we hang our head

Broken promises and broken dreams

All the friend and family screams

Mourners and the angels cry

To their lives we say goodbye

Bloody water and razor blades

Sorrow and grief have paved their ways
