Black RoseA Poem by GeistA small tombstone lay hidden in a cemetery I know Around this grave tall grass and many weeds do grow
Under a tree is where you will find this wetherbeaten rock The original inscription gone but replaced with a kind man's chalk
Many know of legends reguarding this quiet, somber place The legend surrounding this stone however is the legend of Grace
The ghost of a woman who supposedly appears at this grave To mourn for her child who met mortality at such a young age
The real story of what happened may never honestly be known Any truth or any knowledge may in fact be burried with their bones
Somew say it was murder, a jealous lover's sick twisted revenge Others say it was her own doing, herself she was trying to avenge
The only facts that you will find to actually exist here at all A Grace is burried next to that infant's stone, the infant's name Paul © 2008 GeistReviews
