politicians

politicians

A Poem by Pitta S Dev

corruption and chaos

enveloped the world

justice and rule

interpreted to one's convenience

protests and strikes

to fulfill one's demands

Rule of law is the golden rule

to the humanity they preach

love the country - philosophy every one teach

people are the nation

we forget, divide, fight

never care for hungry souls

while we find to end hunger

of course there's such a vast difference in justice and law that it is sad. irrefutably,
we define them as per our own beliefs, values, and opinions - regardless of their own righteousness. sadly, without one universal way of thinking, there will continue to be that distance between two aspect of society that should be one in the same. anyways, i enjoyed it lots :)
