Just a Scribble

Just a Scribble

A Poem by Pitta S Dev

Crystal clear as dew drop
is her visage

Wavy clouds in refreshing climes
are her hair locks

Buds are soft and smooth and savor
by her cheeks they turn to be distant favor

Transparency and tranquility at hours of twilight
blend in radiant light are her eyes as a regal peacock delight

Streams of honey delicious locked in unzipped lock
by petals squashy in arched bow in architect’s splendor

Ears to hear, temple of yearnings for lover’s whisper
as temple bells are the ear hangings to play soundless chimes

Perfection is what I see: painters marvel at its peacefulness spread
creation of Creator’s best is cheeky moulds as kid’s yummy butter spread

A friend, a treasure, and thoughts to share: reflective musings to scribble
sprung from the picture I see: a muse, Princes, an angel companion in poetic dribble

Indeed! Truth is beauty and beauty is truth; Yes, Keats is right
