Tired

Tired

A Poem by Sandra

I’m weary.
In so many more ways than one.
Physically
emotionally
And mentally
but rest does not alleviate my weariness.

I am tired
In so many more ways than can be summed
In my bones
My limbs
Eyes
but sleep does not lessen my tiredness

I am exhausted
In so many more ways than can be expressed
Mind
Heart
And soul
but peace does not eliminate my exhaustion

Weariness, tiredness, and exhaustion have become my companions

Jump up and be optimistic. When reading I feel same. Nice writing.

Sometimes we all feel like this: tired, weary and drained beyond belief. The important thing is not to push ourselves when we feel like this, take time out for ourselves and overcome this icky feeling! Thanks for sharing, I'd like to ask, this was added on July 10,2020, did you write this at the same time? Could it be that you were feeling tired and drained because of the COVID-19 pandemic?

Gee
You read like a typical ran ragged mother. Mum raised 9 of us on her own and was constantly knackered to the point of illness.
