THE LITTLE GIRL SAID
"Love me", the little girl said. "Iv'e skinned my knee", he said. "Love me!" "Iv'e bloodied my nose", said he. "Love me", she cries. "Can't you see that it hurts to breathe", he whispers. "Love me." "The bad man is still there", he weeps. "Love me", she implores. "I'm sinking", he replied. "Love me", her voice drifs back. "I have never stopped", he laments to her memory. © 2008 Lost Soul |
