we’ve been apart too long

Do not break my heart,

tis with you, I doth belong

 

Your parting left me empty,

a space I cannot fill

Our bond unique, a rarity,

not one that’s found at will

 

I cannot wait forever,

the years are adding on

We would have been great lovers

but, for now, your love is gone

i like this one. it shows a deep understanding to what love is and how it has affected you yet you won't wait for it. i also like the old words usage, nicely done!
